Lockstep Account Deletion Policy

This page explains how to request account deletion and what data is deleted or retained after your request.
How to Request Deletion
- In-app (recommended): go to Settings and select the delete account option, if available.
- Email request: send your request from your account email address to support@lockstep.app with subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Verification
For your security, we may require account verification before processing deletion requests.
What We Delete
- Profile/account information linked to your user account.
- Commitments, reflections, and related app content, subject to legal and operational limits.
- Associated app-level preferences and identifiers used for normal service operation.
What We May Retain
- Records required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, tax/accounting, and dispute resolution.
- Limited payment/transaction records maintained by us or payment processors as required by law.
- Security logs retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary.
Processing Timeline
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal exceptions.
